This was an ambitious project to revitalizing a 1907 farmhouse that had been left dilapidated for many years before being foreclosed on and abandoned for several more years. The project involved rehabbing a leaking roof, collapsing sun room, plumbing leaks, moldy walls, soggy ceilings, a bamboo forest, and stripped electrical before kitchen and bathroom remodeling or design on style and finishes could even begin. The end result was a whole house remodel with an industrial farmhouse style; mixing period appropriate details, reclaimed or antique elements and materials, with modern lighting and fixtures that mixed an vintage industrial vibe with the timeless, cozy feel of the classic farmhouse it once was.
